MandCo. although they have 300 High Street stores, are only recently online. Their present 'Plus' range, to size 28, offers styles aimed at the woman aged 30+ , who is after either single pieces or an overall look with accessories. Looks exceptional value in our opinion.

NewNow is the clothing retailer for the young, age 25+ woman who wants cheaper versions of the Celeb fashions she has seen in Heat or OK magazine. NewNow have the very latest trends as they are happening, but at affordable prices. Sizes 12-32

Marisota is another site aimed at the young plus size woman. Their styles are more Yours Magazine than the Celebrity styles of NewNow, and more "contemporary high street" than the vivid colours and cutting edge of Simply Be. They have a very broad range of styles and different fittings, so definitely visit if you usually have trouble getting an exact fit or shape. Sizes 12-34

LX Direct have plus size clothes to size 30 in their Women's clothing section. You will find it half-way down the womens clothing page menu, left hand side. Not as big a choice of styles as other retailers, but good value for money in our opinion

Although not a plus size clothes retailer as such, their wonderful, reasonably priced fashion goes up to size 20, and they have size 20 in almost everything. We like their site. Chums are particular strong in traditional 'hard to find' dresses and full length coats. Aimed at ladies age 55+, they also sell the type of outerwear, underwear and nightwear styles that the now mature woman grew up with, to size 28.

Marks and Spencer
Last season Marks and Spencers had got some really nice Plus Size fashions but we aren't as thrilled at this seasons offering. Very reasonable value though, and they do have plus size to size 28. Their new website's a bit dark and takes getting used to.

Grattan is offering £15 off if you spend over £40 on your first online visit. Finding plus size over size 24 is not easy, though there are clothes of almost ever type to size 30. Pick a designer like Slimma to guarantee larger sizes.

Daxon, one of the longest established catalogue retailers, have really good ranges for the woman aged over 50, to plus size 40.

LandsEnd have a very wide range of reasonably priced clothes up to plus size 30. FREE DELIVERY too.

One of the nicest 'feeling' sites for woman's plus size clothing we have come across.We find that the way in which they display sizing info. under every individual top, skirt, cardigan or other garment makes getting the right size so easy. Quality and finish look good too.

Have up to size 40 in tops and 38 in gowns/dresses, and 36 in skirts and 30 in jeans/trousers. Bras to 46G

EBay store run by a size 24 lady, catering for up to plus size 32, although most clothes are in the size 14-28 range. Plus size casual and evening wear, and some accessories.

Great Comedienne Dawn French, - but we're not admirers of her current plus size clothes, which we find dowdy and dull.

Catering for up to plus size 28 and branching out from Ebay, Lanarkwitch - rating 100% positive, has not yet got a huge amount of choice. What she does have though, is pretty, fashionable tops at what we think are very, very reasonable prices

Simply Be & Boden we would class as the best 35 yr old woman's sites. Simply Be caters for the average to plus size, and their clothes have flair, exciting designs and the latest fashion ideas in our opinion. Sizes 12-34

JD Williams
JD Williams is a site for the 40 -50 year old average to plus size woman. A little extra maturity to the fashion offering here than, say, Simply Be or Fashion World, but with more flair than the elegant style of the FiftyPlus site. A very large offering of fashion here from size 12 to size 34, and with some limited selections to size 38

Fashion World
Fashion World is a site for aged 35+ in our opinion, with younger cuts and styles, but without the very bright fashion looks of Simply Be.
